Its Broadleaf Colorado Maduro wrapper from Connecticut, USA, covers a Mexican San Andrés binder and long filler leaves from Nicaragua and Honduras. The cigars are hand-rolled at AJ Fernandez's Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Nicaragua. The vitola name and design are inspired by the biblical story of "David and Goliath." The focal point of this sought-after cigar is its wrapper. Since 2014, Foundation Cigars founder and master blender Nicholas Melillo has worked closely with farmers in the Connecticut River Valley to develop this exquisite wrapper.
