Dos Maderas 5+5 PX Rum is a premium rum with a unique aging process that combines the best of the Caribbean and Spain. Distilled in the Caribbean and aged in oak barrels for five years, it is then transported to Jerez, Spain, where it matures for three additional years in barrels that previously contained Palo Cortado and finally two more years in Pedro Ximénez barrels. This double aging gives it exceptional smoothness and unmatched complexity.
