Altadis USA revitalizes the Montecristo brand with the 1935 Anniversary Diamante Edition, originally a discarded prototype that, after additional years of maturation, was recognized as extraordinary by Altadis’ AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal. This special edition incorporates Nicaraguan tobaccos, with a hybrid wrapper of Cuban seed grown in Jalapa, filler from Estelí and a Criollo binder from Ometepe, offering an intense start of pepper, leather and earth that is balanced with notes of toasted nuts, spices and dark chocolate.
