El Chan started his artisan line in 2016 and it wasn't until June 2017 that he was certified as a cigar roller. At that time, he only used tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Indonesia. This was the FIRST blend El Chan made when he started rolling cigars. It's the only one that remains the same as it was in its beginnings, offering spicy flavors and earthy notes with some hints of nuts and cedar, resulting in a smooth to medium tasting cigar.
