Glenmorangie 12 Years Calvados Limited Edition 750ml

Glenmorangie Calvados Cask Finish is a limited edition 12-year-old that is part of the distillery's Barrel Select series, which explores the flavours that emerge from different cask finishes.

This whisky has been finished in Calvados du Pays d'Auge casks, bringing a new dimension to Glenmorangie's signature fruity tones.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Aromas of jasmine combined with baked apples and pears.
• Palate: Flavors of apple toffee, lemon balm and spices, with a creamy texture.
• Finish: Smooth, fruity finish reflecting the influence of the Calvados casks.

Manufacturing Process

This whisky was initially aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks for over a decade. It was then transferred to 20-year-old Calvados casks from the Normandy region of France for final finishing. This process gives the whisky additional complexity and distinctive fruit notes.
